What Do You Want?

What Do You Want? are the words that slip from your lips with warmth, deep concern and a want to understand

The question I was dreading

Hating the moment that the question would knock at my ear and cause for my to answer the door

Why do you have to ask, why don't you know is what I want to pose back

But I know that will just cause a deeper frustration and things will just get harder

But I am scared to say what I want

Scared of the rejection that waits for me as soon as the words escape my lips.

My heart is beating ten miles per hour.

Past experiences drift to forefront of my mental

Tears are welling up,pushing past and screaming to flow down my face

I want you, I say in the lowest possible tone
