The Back-Up Plan

Today I sat and watched the movie, The Back - up Plan. It was one of the movies I wanted to see, but didn't get a chance to see, so I watched it on Netflix. lol I have to say I enjoyed the movie. It was interesting look on how we try to shape our lives and destiny/higher power, nicely laughs in our face and does something different.

As I do this 31 Day Challenge, I thank God for the message that is clear through out the movie. It was something I need to see. I say that because a lot of times we plan things and hope they will go a certain way and then get super confuse when God adds a lane, puts up a stop sign, a road delay sign or my favorite is turn around fool sign. Over the past few years I have seen all of these. I like Zoe(Jennifer Lopez) made choices for my life because I wanted something or felt I needed something in life. Sometimes things did not pan out the way I wanted or things I thought I would not get, God surprised me with them.

As I go through these last few days as a 24 year old, I question the things that God wants for me, what are my next steps and my favorite question am I doing this right. As I currently read a book called His Rules: God's Practical Road Map for Becoming and Attracting Mr. or Mrs. Right(Will do a review later), I learn more and more and understand the direction God has for life. I should I am learning how to access the information to understand the direction.

But back to the top at hand, back up plans. I am not sure I have one. But then again that really is asinine to me because when you trust God he directs your path (Proverbs 3:5-6). Which was something that I found very important for me to understand in my Christian walk. Many times we feel we need to have all the answers and have everything totally under control but then there is God saying let go I got this don't worry about a thing.

So Moral of the Story: Let God be your Back - Up plan...
