This morning I woke up refreshed and excited about life. There was a cool breeze coming through my window. As I soaked in the morning I realized I wanted to take a walk. I dressed and decided to walk to 97th street. As I walked out my door, I couldn't remember the last time I took a walk like this.
I reached 125th street with no stress. As I pushed forward towards my destination I thought wow what did I just decided to do. But the funny thing was as I walked down the street with Ledisi's melodious voice flowing into my ears I forgot about street numbers. I allowed thoughts to flow and it felt great. Thinking through life choices, where I am and where I want to go.
But as I thought back I was reminded that at this point and time I was thinking about moving to NC. Its funny how things change.
But as I walked it was like tunnel vision. The only way that vision changed is if I looked around. It was a little reminder for me about how I need to approach the next steps in my life. There is nothing wrong with tunnel vision, you just have to remind your self to look up and look around.
