No Man

So I am really starting to believe that people do not have true friends. When I say true friends I mean a person that knows your weaknesses and doesn't exploit them, encourages you to be different, cries with you, fights for you and can keep your secrets. I mean honestly friends are hard to find and always have been. Look at Jesus, he had a crew of 12 and one was a doubter, one betrayed him and one denied him. Even with all that said Jesus knew his crew. He understood their weaknesses and when Judas betrayed him he was not surprised.

I thank God for my crew. I have a nice group of people and they are different(which I believe your crew should be). Your friendship should offer you the things that you need in life. I am starting to wonder how many people can look at their group of friends and say hey I get what I need out of these people. One thing that some of y'all need is a "No Man." Someone who will let you know when your choices are not cool.

I remember a while back I went shopping with some friends and while we were in the dressing room another girl came out in a dress. She looked at her friends and they were like aww you look cute. My friend and I looked at each other, looked at the girl and proceeded to tell her the truth. The girl looked frumpy, bumpy and lumpy. It was so heartbreaking to watch her friends tell her she looked cute just because the girl loved the the dress.

There have been plenty of times I wanted something or liked something and my friends will tell me hell no! Everyone needs that in their life. A person that will tell you look a stuffed sausage in a dress or your man looks like a bamboos ass.

But there are 3 rules to the No Man

1. Learn how to offer criticism. There are ways to tell your friends you don't like what they are doing without making them cry. Don't use that they are just super sensitives. There is always a way to tell someone you don't agree with their choices in a politically correct way. Don't look to make them out to be silly. Respect they have feelings and are humans.

2. Respect their right to disagree. Yes you may be right and realize they are making a complete ass out of themselves however, remember that it is their life and they have to live it

3. Offer a solution. If you are going to disagree try to also offer a solution to the problem. Demonstrate you are a forward thinker and you can you can see things through different eyes.
